WWE is in Las Vegas for SummerSlam week and they got things started in a big way with some tryouts. Many WWE hopefuls traveled to Sin City in pursuit of a contract and that dream came true for a number of people today.

The company is changing up a lot about the NXT brand. According to Triple H, there has been no real shift in what the company is looking for in terms of future Superstars. We will have to see what the black and gold brand looks like in the next few months, but they added a number of people to the roster today.

Triple H said that the company offered 13 to 16 attendees contracts at the recent Last Vegas tryouts. We have not heard who received those deals, but the tryouts were apparently a big success.

The company just axed over a dozen NXT Superstars from their contracts. They are obviously having no issue filling the Performance Center back up.

WWE excited a lot of people with their Las Vegas tryouts. They were able to look at some people who might have a harder time making it all the way to Orlando. We will keep our eyes peeled for names of tryout attendees, but odds are we will see much more from a few of them in the future.
