The feud between Chris Jericho and MJF has been one of the mainstays of AEW television for well over a year now, as the two have been involved in a variety of storylines together. Chris Jericho is certainly glad he has the opportunity to take part in such a storyline in AEW.

The Five Labors Of Jericho truly showcased just how good Chris Jericho still is even at his age. On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho and MJF faced off in the final labor of Jericho.

Despite Le Champion’s best efforts, he was unable to defeat MJF as The Salt Of The Earth ended up making Jericho tap out after hitting his submission finisher. Naturally, this huge victory delighted MJF to a whole new level.

After this crushing defeat, Chris Jericho took to Twitter and revealed that he will need to do some serious soul-searching do as the outcome was not what Jericho wanted.

While the outcome wasn’t what I wanted, last nights #AEWDynamite was one of the best moments of my career….THANK U HOUSTON! The acapella version of @fozzyrock #Judas was insane! Great story about this to tell some day. As for today, I have some serious soul searching to do.

It is evident that Chris Jericho’s spirit is far from broken despite his crushing defeat. We will have to wait and see when Jericho will be making his return to AEW television as it is likely he will be taking some time off.
