Gable Steveson is an Olympian and NCAA Division I National Champion and there is no doubt that WWE is interested in signing him to a contract. It is also very likely that his name will spark a bidding war between WWE and the UFC. He is also teasing the possibility that the NFL might get him to sign on the dotted line. Obviously, the world is open for the Olympic Gold Medalist.
Gable Steveson also had a tremendous performance at the Tokyo Olympics, as he won the gold medal in the 125kg freestyle category. There is no doubt his stock has risen significantly after Steveson’s huge win.
While speaking to TMZ Sports, WWE Superstar Seth Rollins was asked about Gable Steveson possibly making his way to WWE. Rollins made it clear that he would love to see Steveson in WWE and then stated that he wants to help training Steveston for a run in WWE.
“I mean, we’d love to have him. He seems like an incredible athlete, and decent dude. And, you know, we’ve had some luck with Olympic gold medalists before, so why not?
I do have a wrestling school, Black and Brave Wrestling Academy, so if he wants to move to Davenport, Iowa for three months, we’ll get him ready.”
Rollins knows what he’s doing when it comes to training. He is also helping his wife Becky Lynch prepare for her own in-ring return.
Gable Steveson also recently confirmed that he will be present at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view. Being only 21 years of age, the sky is the limit for Steveson, so we will have to wait and see whether he will sign with WWE in the future.
