NXT TakeOver: 36 is this Sunday, one day after SummerSlam. The company has a lot planed for the NXT brand, and that will involve a lot of changes. Vince McMahon’s new vision for the black and gold brand will mean a different strategy when it comes to recruitment, and their taping schedule is getting a facelift as well.

According to a report from Fightful Select, NXT is switching up their television taping schedule after TakeOver. They will take on Monday and Tuesday following the TakeOver event. That will call for three straight days of taping including Sunday’s NXT TakeOver: 36 show. They have already started contacting fans who are invited to be in attendance.

NXT will be taping the Monday and Tuesday following NXT Takeover this month as opposed to going live. Some fans and regulars have already been sent emails to request their spots on the tapings. The most recent set of NXT shows had some live, some taped. We’re working to find out any more changes that will be in store.

It has not been confirmed that this is a permanent move, but they are switching things up this month. We’ll have to see if the new taping schedule has anything to do with the greater plans that WWE has in the pipeline for their developmental brand.
