Ric Flair is one of the greatest pro wrestlers to have ever laced up a pair of boots. He has worked in several different promotions throughout his illustrious career and competed in many iconic matches. Since his recent WWE release, the world is wide open for The Nature Boy. It was previously said that Ric Flair wants one more in-ring run, and he has certainly continued to tease that.

Ric Flair tried to make good on that promise as he recently took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of himself killing it at the gym. He also recently added fuel to the fire of his return to the squared circle in a post where Flair declared that he will never retire

TripleMania XXIX even featured a surprise appearance from Ric Flair, who accompanied Andrade El Idolo to the ring. This came a very short time after The Nature Boy’s requested WWE release. Now it seems the reason why Flair was able to appear so soon after his release has been revealed.

According to Wrestling Inc, it was reported that Ric Flair had no non-compete clause after his release from WWE, which means he is free to go wherever he wants to at any time.

Wrestling Inc. first reported that Flair requested, and was granted, his WWE release earlier this month. We have learned that there is not a non-compete agreement between Flair and WWE, so he is free to appear for other promotions immediately.

Ric Flair is likely to make his way to AEW from the looks of it. We will have to wait and see how he will fare in AEW, especially if Flair competes in the ring.
