WWE’s deal with Saudi Arabia received a bit of pushback from mainstream outlets. That won’t stop Vince McMahon from accepting the huge deal to continue bringing pro wrestling entertainment to those fans.

It was previously reported that WWE plans to hold both King and Queen of the Ring tournaments leading to their next Saudi Arabian show. The new WWE royalty will be crowned in Saudi, and now that still unnamed event is seemingly as official as it can be.

Wrestling Club, an Arabic pro wrestling Twitter page, revealed that Advisor to the Royal Court and Chairman of General Authority for Entertainment, Turki Al Sheikh, has now confirmed that WWE’s next event in the country will take place in October.

Turki Al Sheikh announces that the next WWE show will be in Riyadh, expected to be in October.

WWE’s 10-year contract with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is still valid and those missing shows will be tacked onto the end of their existing deal. We will have to see how long it takes for WWE to announce their next trek to Saudi Arabia, but the news is out over there already.
