WWE Champion Bobby Lashley has no plans to drop his title any time soon. He is set to take on Goldberg at SummerSlam in a match that few fans thought would be possible. Lashley has been a very dominant champion since winning the title from The Miz. The All Mighty also knows a thing or two about leaving WWE and returning to be an even bigger deal.

For the past few months, WWE has been releasing several talents from their contracts, which began with the likes of Mickie James and Chelsea Green being released back in April. The company released even more NXT Superstars in their latest batch of releases, including the likes of Bronson Reed and Bobby Fish. In total, WWE has released 52 Superstars so far this year.

While speaking to Rick Ucchino, Bobby Lashley talked about the latest set of releases from the company. Lashley advised the released talents to not burn bridges with the company.

“Stay motivated. There were guys that contacted me in WWE while I was out and they asked, ‘What’s going on? Do you have any advice?’ I always told them, ‘If you’re good, your talent can’t be denied.

That’s one. Two; never burn bridges. A lot of times, people leave the wrestling business or leave one organization and feel the need to badmouth them, I think that’s ridiculous. Every one of us made our name from WWE or pro wrestling and made a lot of money.

We will have to wait and see just how the feud between Bobby Lashley and Goldberg will be booked as we approach the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view on August 21st.
