Kenny Omega is one of the best in-ring competitors in the pro wrestling world, but his heel tactics aren’t winning over many fans. On the debut episode of AEW Rampage this week, Kenny Omega defended his Impact World Championship against Christian Cage in Pittsburgh. Then The Belt Collector lost the Impact Title to Cage.

Their match opened the show and it certainly was a memorable match from start to finish, as it featured a lot of high octane in-ring action. Either competitor could have won during various instances in the match. When the dust settled, it was Christian Cage who came out on top as he beat Omega for the title. This truly shocked the pro wrestling world as no one expected Cage to win at all.

After the conclusion of the match, Kenny Omega took to Twitter and reacted to his shocking loss on AEW Rampage. Omega stated that he felt cheated and disrespected and put everyone on notice.

Not a cheerful ride to the airport. Baggage is light and I feel so cheated and disrespected. You’re all on notice. I’m taking this personally.

Christian Cage is also scheduled to challenge Kenny Omega for the AEW World Title at AEW All Out on September 5th. We will have to wait and see if Cage ends up winning that match as well.
