CM Punk is on his way to AEW, and he’s having some real fun in the process. Chicago means a lot to the company and it is also CM Punk’s hometown. August 20th could be a big night for Darby Allin as well. Ringside News exclusively reported that Punk is slated to wrestle 10 to 12 times a year, and he’ll be around nearly every week on top of that.

Darby Allin has many tattoos, much like CM Punk. The former TNT Champion has a chest tattoo with writing that says: “Nothing is over until you’re underground.” That phrase is known to a lot of AEW fans as a direct link to Allin.

The Second City Savior logged onto Instagram and he posted something quite interesting. While remembering a big night in his ROH career, he concluded the text on a story with the exact words that Allin has inked on his chest.

Darby Allin called out CM Punk during AEW Dynamite right after the company announced their big United Center show. He didn’t namedrop Punk, be Allin did say he wants to face “the best in the world.” He wasn’t talking about Shane McMahon, but Punk joked about thinking that Allin was talking about Bryan Danielson as well.

We’ll have to see what’s in the future, but All Out could very well include a big match with Allin vs the Second City Savior.
