Gable Steveson is an Olympian and NCAA Division I National Champion and there is no doubt that WWE is interested in signing him to a contract. It is also very likely that his name will spark a bidding war between WWE and the UFC. He is also teasing the possibility that the NFL might get him to sign on the dotted line. Obviously, the world is open for the Olympic Gold Medalist.

On the other hand, Jake Hager has been a mainstay of AEW television since making his debut on the first episode of AEW Dynamite back in 2019. He is part of the Inner Circle stable and is one of the most legitimate pro wrestlers in the company.

Hager recently took to Twitter and called out Gable Steveson, stating that he will bet $20k Steveson couldn’t take him down.

I bet $20,000 that @GableSteveson could not take me down. Any Takers? #AEWDynamite @AEWonTNT

Steveson saw Hager’s tweet and decided to reply to it, making it clear he will win in five seconds. Hager then offered Steveson a choice of three cities where they can have their fight inside the Octagon. Steveson then stated that he has never heard of Jake Hager but would be glad to send his address via a DM.

Never heard of u, but dm for my address.

Gable Steveson also recently stated that he wants to become a UFC Champion. Being only 21 years of age, the sky is the limit for Steveson, so we will have to wait and see whether he will sign with WWE or UFC in the future.
