Bianca Belair is the Smackdown Women’s Champion and is undoubtedly one of the most popular female WWE Superstars in the women’s division right now. Belair’s stock shot up after she won the Women’s Royal Rumble match earlier this year. The EST of WWE then went on to win Smackdown Women’s Championship after defeating Sasha Banks in the main event of Night One of WrestleMania 37.

Being a top athlete, Bianca Belair certainly has a lot of respect for her peers in various fields of sports. This is especially true for Simone Biles, the decorated gymnast who prioritized her mental health over competing at the Tokyo Olympics.

While speaking to ViBe & Wrestling, Bianca Belair talked about how Simone Biles’ focus on mental health truly inspired her.

“Simone Biles is so inspiring on what she did specially in such a big stage and she allowed herself to be vulnerable and put her mental health before her physical abilities.”

“The message is that athletes are humans and it is so hard mentally and we have to look at her and admire her for what she did – because there are times as athletes, we felt something was not going well but we kept on pushing and it’s ok to put your mental health first.”

Bianca Belair is set to defend her Smackdown Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks at the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view on August 21st. We will have to wait and see if she will be able to retain her title or not. If anything, she will likely maintain that heart of a champion.
