WWE cut several Superstars from their roster over the last few months. Tony Nese lost his job with the company, but that is far from the end of his story in pro wrestling.

The former WWE Cruiserweight Champion logged onto Twitter on Tuesday morning to have a bit of fun. Where many released Superstars tease specific companies, he simply tweeted out several capitalized letters and let fans decipher the message.

Chris Booker tweeted at Nese and said: “Too soon.” Then Nese replied with, “Nah, only 45 days to go.” It seems that he is counting down the days until he can get back on television.

Nese was backstage at a recent AEW Dynamite taping. That was an interesting place to find him. We’ll have to see if he ends up in an All Elite Wrestling ring eventually.

Interestingly enough, Nese was once told that WWE would never hire him because he is “short and white.” He did make it to WWE, but his time with Vince McMahon’s company eventually came to an end.
