Serena Deeb is undoubtedly one of the most talented and gifted in-ring female pro wrestlers to have graced the pro wrestling world in a very long time. The former NWA Women’s Champion suffered a knee injury that took her out of action, but that time on the sideline will be over soon. Deeb has been through a tremendous journey through pro wrestling, including a stint at the WWE Performance Center as a coach. She is obviously not finished proving herself in the squared circle.
She is a mainstay in AEW’s women’s division and last competed in a tag team match at AEW Dark: Elevation on July 14. Her last saw Serena Deeb and Tay Conti face off against Jazmin Allure and Vertvixen in a winning effort.
Deeb had been fighting through a knee injury for quite some time. Now it seems she has given fans some good news regarding her recovery. Deeb took to Twitter and uploaded a video of herself, where she could be seen sitting in a wheelchair. She then removed her brace and got up to show her knee has strength. Deeb then revealed that she doesn’t even need the knee brace anymore.
While cutting a fierce promo, Serena Deeb proclaimed: “I’m one step closer to being cleared.” It seems that she has a lot of fire behind her now.
We certainly hope Serena Deeb makes a full recovery from her knee injury as soon as possible so that she can appear on AEW television more often, as fans would love to see more of her.
