ROH is moving locations for their Death Before Dishonor event which was originally scheduled for September 12th at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida. A new date has not been announced at this time. This change is due to the rising threat of COVID-19 in Florida, a state that has remained a hotbed for the virus since the beginning of the pandemic.

The company sent out a social media blast to let fans know that they made the decision to move the event. It was also made clear that ROH values fan safety and their health as a top priority. Along with “#ROHDBD,” ROH posted a text graphic with the following message.

Due to the recent Covid surge in Florida, ROH is moving the site of the Death Before Dishonor pay-per-view event. Details to follow shortly.

Your safety, health, and well-being remain our top prorities.

Jonathan Gresham or Rhett Titus, whichever is champion at the time, will take on Josh Woods for the Pure Title at Death Before

Dishonor. They will also crown a new ROH Women’s World Champion as their big tournament will conclude during the event.

ROH operates with a strict bubble protocol system to ensure safety during the pandemic. They shuttered their doors for months prior to finally running shows under a very careful operation. It is unclear where ROH will hold the pay-per-view event now, but they need to make that decision public soon.
