Big E pulled down the Money in the Bank briefcase and many fans were overjoyed. Vince McMahon allegedly had a huge smile on his face for Big E’s moment on top of it all. Fans might get used to him carrying that guaranteed contract, because it’s unlikely he will cash it in at SummerSlam.
The New Day member was recently seen on SmackDown laughing away at Paul Heyman. One had to assume that he was considering the possibility of cashing in on The Tribal Chief or John Cena at SummerSlam. There are a lot of possibilities for that contract, because he could always decided to cash in during a WWE Title match as well.
According to the latest betting odds from BetOnline, the numbers are not in Big E’s favor for a surprise cash-in during the biggest party of the summer. As of this writing, the odds are sitting at -250 odds that Big E won’t cash in with +175 that he will hand in his briefcase on August 21st.
Big E has already made it clear that he would never cash in on Kofi Kingston or Xavier Woods. Since his New Day brothers aren’t in title contention then that eliminates a problem.
The WWE Draft is coming up in October and there is a possibility that Big E will find himself on a new brand with that briefcase. We will have to see what Vince McMahon decides to book for the current Mr. Money in the Bank, because history has shown that Mr. McMahon’s plans for MITB briefcase holders can often change.
