WWE has been on a mission to release as many talents and members of staff as possible. This all started in April with the release of Superstars such as Mickie James and Chelsea Green.

It then led to the shocking releases of Braun Strowman, Aleister Black and Buddy Murphy back in June. After that more NXT talents were released.

Bray Wyatt was also released last month which certainly shocked the entire pro wrestling world. Finally, WWE released even more NXT Superstars recently including Bronson Reed and Bobby Fish.

Naturally, fans became increasingly frustrated with WWE’s actions and they took to Twitter to vent their frustrations. You can find some of their upset tweets below.

“It took 3 years for NXT to go from potential global territory to the disposable brand. #wwereleases”

“The Wednesday Night War killed NXT. HHH threw EVERYTHING at AEW between 2019-2020, from double-champions, Finn Balor’s return, Fatal-4-Way Iron Man matches, to shock title switches, celebrity involvement, & main roster cameos. He exhausted the product. Sprinted. #wwereleases“

“@WWE @VinceMcMahon @StephMcMahon if releases of talent have to be done then why not at least release the PR disasters that puts a stain on your company like blatant racist bigot #JaxsonRyker That ship is never going to sail and you know it. #WWEReleases

“F*CK IT, IF THESE #wwereleases ARE GOING TO KEEP HAPPENING… I SAY ATTACK THE HIGH UPS IN #WWE, BURN THAT BRIDGE, B/C F THEY ARE GOING RELEASE YOU, MIGHT AS WELL GO OUT FIGHTING AND MAKE BREAKING NEW.”

“It’s getting real hard to support @WWE on a consistent basis when they have massive talent releases every month / year and @WWE wanna know why ppl aren’t watching their shows and are starting to watch the show on Wednesday night more 🤷🏻‍♂️ #wwereleases”

From the looks of it WWE will continue to release more talents, as they have already released 52 wrestlers just this year. It was said that WWE will be repackaging NXT soon so we will have to wait and see how that turns out.
