Chelsea Green was one of several Superstars released by WWE earlier in the year as part of the COVID-19 budget cuts. Many fans felt she was not utilized well in WWE and wanted her to join a promotion where Green would be appreciated.
Green certainly has a creative mind and had pitched multiple ideas to WWE, but none of them truly stuck with the company. Recently, Chelsea Green came under fire for a tweet after Bray Wyatt had been released from WWE last month.

While speaking to Ring The Belle, Chelsea Green talked about fans going after her and trying to cancel her for the Bray Wyatt tweet. Green stated that she doesn’t let all the negativity affect her.
“I’m forever canceled. Someone is always trying to cancel me. I don’t like feeding into the cancel culture, so I try not to respond, but I tweeted something nice and supportive, and people are taking it so negatively. The irony of it is that two men in the industry, if not more, tweeted almost the exact same thing and were not canceled.
“I am not like, a super feminist, but when it comes to stuff like this, that is where I think the line is crossed a little bit with the Twitter fans … is that they come for somebody and they all want to dogpile on that person. I just don’t support that. I don’t think it’s right. Luckily, I am mentally strong. I don’t let it affect me, but it really worries me – how do other people take this stuff?
“And at the end of the day, I simply know Bray Wyatt is somebody who I have had personal conversations with. I like Bray Wyatt, and his wife is someone who I have personal conversations with, who I also like. So, I know that they know what I mean, and that’s really what matters, is that I support him.”
Green recently made her return to Impact Wrestling at Slammiversary and before that, she appeared at ROH as well. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for her and if she will ever return to WWE.
