This week’s episode of AEW Homecoming was a night of memorable moments and excellent matches, including the in-ring debut of Malakai Black.
The company already announced a good few matches for next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite and now it seems they have made yet another match official for the show.
Darby Allin, Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston faced off against the debuting trio of Daniel Garcia and 2.0 (Jeff Parker and Matt Lee) at AEW Homecoming. Allin won the match after hitting a Coffin Drop on Garcia.
Garcia then appeared in a backstage interview segment and accused Darby of piggybacking on his teammates to win and challenged him to a singles match for next week’s show. Tony Khan would make the match official shortly after.
Following an impressive debut on #AEWDynamite last night, @GarciaWrestling claims @DarbyAllin was only able to pin him with help from @JonMoxley + @MadKing1981; Garcia has challenged Darby to a one-on-one match next Wednesday, & AEW GM @TonyKhan has booked the match for Dynamite!
We will have to wait and see how Darby Allin will fare in the match and if he will make short work of Daniel Garcia.
Here is the updated card for next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite:
The Good Brothers vs Evil Uno & Stu Grayson
Wardlow vs Chris Jericho – MJF as Special Referee
Nyla Rose vs Kris Statlander
