John Cena is a 16-time World Champion and carried the company on his back throughout the PG era. From 2017 John Cena became a part-timer in WWE and has appeared sporadically due to his busy schedule in Hollywood. That could change after SummerSlam.
For the past few months WWE has been on a mission to release several talents from the company. It all started in April with the release of Superstars such as Mickie James and Chelsea Green and recently Bray Wyatt.
While speaking on ESPN’s First Take, John Cena asked by former WWE broadcaster Charly Caruso who has impressed him the most since he returned to the company. After mentioning Vince McMahon, Cena noted that there has been a lot of crazy decisions in WWE lately, likely talking about the releases.
“I always say the same thing; Vince McMahon. He’s so unpredictable. He keeps everybody in suspense. There’s been a lot of crazy decisions lately, I don’t know what the future of WWE will hold, but it’s certainly exciting times. I’m always impressed, especially returning, by his work ethic, his commitment, by his passion. I have to say Vince.”
John Cena is set to square off against Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam. We will have to wait and see who wins the match in the end.
