WWE released Bray Wyatt from his WWE contract and that was a shock for many. Even the company’s network affiliates weren’t too please by that turn of events.
Naturally, fans will assume that Windham Rotunda will go to AEW, because they are the second largest pro wrestling company in North America. Nothing has been confirmed at this time, because his release just went down on Saturday. Still, Cody Rhodes has a fond opinion of Wyatt.
“I can’t comment if I see a spot for him with us,” Cody Rhodes said during a recent conference call to hype the company’s upcoming Homecoming show.
He continued to call Wyatt, “an incredibly creative individual, an incredibly creative man.” Also, “whenever I see someone like lose their job or move into the next phase in their career,” that they will eventually land on their feet. The general idea is that Windham Rotunda will do great things, no matter where he goes.
Cody also spoke about how he related to Bray Wyatt, in a sense, because he also left WWE. Wyatt was released and Cody left on his own, but they both sought out their own path in the world.
Hopefully, Bray Wyatt will find himself in a situation where he can thrive in creative ways, no matter where he ends up next.
