Ric Flair Voiced Frustrations About WWE Creative To Vince McMahon When Requesting Release

Ric Flair requested his release from WWE and it was granted. He is now free to go and we very well could see The Nature Boy elsewhere. New information paints a picture of a very unhappy Flair.

The two-time WWE Hall of Famer reportedly became frustrated with WWE creative according to Fightful Select. He contacted Vince McMahon directly to make his opinion known before asking for his release. That release request was then granted.

Flair grew frustrated with certain booking decisions on the show, and contacted Vince McMahon directly about it to voice his issues and ask for his release. 

Ric Flair was slated to be involved with Lacey Evans in her angle against Charlotte Flair. Evans was supposed to become RAW Women’s Champion during that storyline, but the whole thing was scrapped when The Lady of WWE became pregnant in real life.

On a side note, Ric Flair received an invitation from Evil Uno to join the Dark Order. So, he always has that offer in his back pocket.

We’ll pay close attention to Ric Flair’s next move. He might be 72-years-old, but his name value could prove incredibly beneficial to others. For some reason WWE wasn’t using him, but now he is free to see who might.
