WWE has a crop of NXT Superstars ready to call up to the main roster. Several NXT Superstars were selected to travel with the main roster in recent weeks, and they were usually used for dark matches. That trend is breaking this week.
Many NXT Superstars such as Karrion Kross, Bronson Reed, Austin Theory, Aliyah, Indi Hartwell, Odyssey Jones, and others have worked dark matches prior to RAW and SmackDown going live. All of those Superstars are very likely on Vince McMahon’s radar for main roster call-ups.
According to a report from PW Insider, WWE did not bring any NXT Superstars to Chicago. There are currently no NXT Superstars backstage prior to RAW in the All State Arena.
No WWE NXT talents are at Raw for dark or WWE Main Event matches.
It was previously reported that Karrion Kross is on the internal roster for RAW, so he very well could be on tonight’s show anyway. NXT taped tomorrow’s episode, so they aren’t needed in Orlando. It is curious that WWE did not bring any representatives from the black and gold brand with them to the Windy City.
