The Miz has grown a lot as a character on WWE television. As it turns out, he has also matured a lot backstage. His attitude used to be a bit of an issue, but time has a way of maturing even the most inflated personalities.

While speaking to SPORTbible, Big E was asked about the biggest narcissist in WWE. He immediately said “Roman Reigns.” Then Big E went on to expand on another WWE Superstar who he used to have a lot of issues with, but things are much better now.

The Miz entered WWE as part of the Real World and then Tough Enough. He also apparently had one gigantic ego according to the current Mr. Money in the Bank. This is even something that Big E has told the A-Lister about.

The Miz is a great choice, it’s hard to not think of Smackdown people because that’s who I’ve been around with lately. You might be surprised, he’s mellowed as he’s gotten older and definitely got better. But he was pretty insufferable when I first met him and I’ve told him this – just very unpleasant to be around and very obnoxious. He would do things almost like an 8-year-old. I promise you, he legit did the ‘I’m not touching you’ with his finger an inch from my face and I like being unbothered. He’s gotten better which is why he didn’t come to mind but The Miz was fairly awful when I first met him.

The Miz is still just as loud and abrasive as ever, even while injured he appears on WWE television and shoots Drip Sticks all over the crowd. We’ll have to see how long he is out of action, but WWE has certainly been able to figure out how to use him in the meantime.
