Zelina Vega Was Backstage At AEW Dynamite This Week

AEW and WWE are two separate companies, but members of their rosters have relationships and friendships with each other. Malakai Black and Zelina Vega are married and they’re not letting company lines get in the way of living their best life.

During Bodyslam.net’s The Push podcast, Cassidy Haynes revealed that Malakai Black did not travel alone to Charlotte for Dynamite this week. His wife, WWE Superstar Zelina Vega, was also there. Obviously, they did not show Vega on camera since she re-signed with WWE and is back on their television every week.

“At Dynamite this week there were a couple names backstage. Zelina Vega was backstage because she was there with Malakai Black.”

Vega was fired from WWE in November, 2020. Then the company brought her back in recent memory. We have not heard anything about Malakai Black making a trip to SmackDown to accompany Vega, but AEW apparently had no issue with her being backstage.

It was also reported that ROH and NJPW Strong’s Brody King was also backstage in Charlotte for Fight For The Fallen. He was said to be hanging out with friends, but no mention was made about any talks between King and AEW.
