Pro wrestling legend and former WWE Superstar Mark Henry shocked the world when he made his debut at the AEW Double Or Nothing pay-per-view. AEW became only the second company ever that Henry has worked in.
One of the biggest topics of discussion in the pro wrestling world right now is about the debuts of Daniel Bryan and CM Punk to AEW and how it will impact the company.
While speaking to TV Insider, Mark Henry talked about CM Punk and Daniel Bryan making their way to AEW, comparing it to when Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart left WWE for WCW back in the 90s.
“I think it’s amazing if it happens. As a fan, I want to see it. But I don’t want to know. Don’t tell me. Let me find out like the fans, so I can react just like the fans. I’m not the gossipy type. I won’t walk around the locker room trying to get gossip. I don’t want that, but I do think either gentleman or both gentlemen would be groundbreakers. They would be able to do something in AEW like when Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart went to WCW from WWE. It would be a positive step. It’s not like we have to have that in AEW, but they would be welcomed additions.”
We will have to wait and see how the debuts of Daniel Bryan and CM Punk in AEW turn out to be and how they will be booked in the company.
