Vince McMahon Had A Smile On His Face After Big E Won The Money In The Bank Match

Big E is undoubtedly one of the top Superstars on Friday Night Smackdown and had been on the receiving end of a push for the past few months as a singles competitor.

It would see him win the WWE Intercontinental Championship last year and he had a solid run as the champion before losing it to Apollo Crews at WrestleMania 37.

At the WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view, Big E won the Money In The Bank ladder match and became the owner of the Money In The Bank briefcase as thousands of fans in the audience celebrated his victory.

While speaking to GiveMeSport, Big E talked about Vince McMahon’s reaction to him winning the Money In The Bank match. Big E stated that McMahon had a smile on his face.

“Yeah, yeah, I’m trying to remember specifically. We had a brief conversation. I’m trying to remember exactly what it was, man. It was definitely positive, it was definitely positive, he had a smile on his face. We talked for thirty seasons or a minute or so and moved on. There’s so much going on, people pulling me in different directions, I had a bunch of interviews to do afterwards. Man, I wish I could give you a gem that you could use of a quote, but I don’t remember exactly what was said, but it was positive. I feel like the whole reception for the match, the reaction, for the finish, all of it was very positive. I wish I had a quote for you, but I can’t remember.”

We will have to wait and see when Big E will cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase as Big E made it clear he wants to cash it in on Roman Reigns in the future.
