WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross is a veteran in the pro wrestling world, as he made a name for himself being a commentator in WWE and delivering some of the most iconic moments in the history of pro wrestling.

Jim Ross is human at the end of the day and is open to making mistakes. He has made some particularly bad blunders and gotten a lot of hate for it online.

While speaking with Inside The Ropes, Cody Rhodes defended Jim Ross. Rhodes stated that he was surprised how much flak Jim Ross gets online before mentioning Ross’ contributions to the pro wrestling world.

Well, I think people forget that JR is one of the most over people on the show. Our generation, speaking specifically about my generation, no other generations, we all think that we’re just it. I’m always surprised to see how much flak he gets online. He’s an older guy who decided to jump ship, join us, take a chance on this. I mean, he’s going to probably retire his jersey here, take this huge chance, this massive gamble when he had a legacy and a job for life elsewhere.”

Jim Ross will continue to do what he loves for as long as Ross can and that is something fans will simply have to accept.

Ross also doesn’t seem to care much about the haters, but that doesn’t mean he’s okay with making mistakes on the air. He said there was no excuse to say “WWE Dynamite” as he did. Still, some online won’t let him live that one down, and some fans even sent death threats which is never okay.
