WWE has been home to many great tournaments throughout the years. A Queen of the Ring tournament is coming and it will allegedly start in October.

The company has plans to start a Queen of the Ring tournament. We previously covered that this was a possibility and something that WWE has in the pipeline.

Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast’s Andrew Zarian posted that the current plan is to hold that tournament on October 8th and continue it on October 11th. That will see it start on SmackDown with a second round on RAW. We will have to see what they do from that point on.

Hearing that the Queen of the Ring tournament is currently scheduled to start on 10/8 Smackdown & 10/11 Raw.

There are a lot of possibilities in the pipeline, and crowning a Queen of the Ring is going to apparently happen. It will not be another all-female pay-per-view as some fans hoped. At least it will provide a spotlight for the company’s women’s division.

Becky Lynch is in the wings, waiting to make her big return. More NXT call-ups are always possible as well. We will have to see what the women’s roster looks like by the time October rolls around.
