WWE’s Current Plan For Becky Lynch’s Return

Becky Lynch took off from WWE last year to have her first child, and baby Roux arrived safe and healthy in December. The Man has been back on the road with WWE accompanying Seth Rollins at a few events, but fans have not seen her return on television just yet.

Lynch made no secret about the fact that she was at Money in the Bank. That should have probably been a big clue that she wasn’t booked to appear on the show. Fans are still holding out hope that it will happen, but it’s not likely that she will be on the red brand.

DuringFightful’s RAW review, Sean Sapp went over the show this week. He expressed some shock that WWE booked a triple threat match for Nikki ASH’s RAW Women’s Title. Then he revealed that the current thinking is that Lynch will probably be on the blue brand upon her return.

“That match being made for SummerSlam was a bit of a surprise. A lot of people were expecting Becky to be back, but word is she might be heading to a different brand. So, who knows, but they need her back in a bad way.”

WWE does need Becky Lynch back, but it’s a matter of picking the perfect time to pull the trigger on her return. A SmackDown return is also likely since she is married to Seth Rollins and WWE doesn’t like to split up couples between brands.

We’ll have to see when Becky Lynch makes her return, but we’ll pay extra close attention during SmackDown.
