AEW has signed a couple of recent WWE releases as they saw Andrade El Idolo and Malakai Black join the company’s roster. Now it is time for a new wave of releases to see their 90-day non-compete clauses run up, and Ruby Riott could find her way to a new company soon.
CM Punk and Daniel Bryan are also expected to join the AEW roster soon enough. That could be a big shot in the arm for the company.
While speaking to Thoughts Count Anywhere Podcast,, Vickie Guerrero was asked about Ruby Riott. She might go as Ruby Soho now, or The Runaway, but no matter what her post WWE name is, Vickie Guerrero would love to see her in AEW.
“I would love to have Ruby on the roster for AEW. She was really underutilized. Just a great talent and a wholesome human being.”
Ruby could offer a wealth of veteran experience to the AEW roster, one that thy company could really use to help elevate talent all around her. We’ll have to see what’s next for Ruby, but AEW doesn’t seem to have closed their doors on her at all.
Vickie Guerrero also revealed that she has asked Tony Khan about giving her an all-female stable to lead. We’ll have to see if that happens, but Ruby Riott could be a great addition to any situation in AEW at this point.
