Brian Blair’s Son Brett Found Tragically Murdered

There is tragic news to report regarding the death of Brian Blair’s son, Brett. He was just 29 years old when the son of the pro wrestling legend was found dead on a construction site. There are new details, but they are still slowly coming in.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer spoke about this tragic story. It seems at this point that Blair’s cause of death was murder. As of this writing, it is uncertain if the police have any leads to catch who is responsible for this tragedy.

“I wish I knew [what happened]. He was murdered, and he was found in a construction site a couple of days ago. It’s been … there’s no answers, there’s no clues that I know of and I heard from Brian [Blair] a couple of times today. It’s just a horrible, horrible story that he’s going through. His entire family is going through it, I feel so bad. Brett, who was named after Brett Hart was 29-years-old and there’s not really a lot more other than it’s been a horrible, horrible period.”

Meltzer said that there is no clue to indicate motive or who committed the crime. This is a terrible situation all around, filled with questions.

This has been a very tough time for a lot of people and we can’t imagine the tragedy that the Blair family is dealing with right now. All we can hope for is that whoever is responsible for Brett’s death is brought to justice. Our thoughts go out to their family during this awful time of loss.
