AEW’s upcoming Rampage show will debut on August 13th, and the company wants to make sure that they get that new show in front of as many eyes as possible. That will include arranging a new television deal in many countries and they’ve been hard at work recently.

During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer brought up the new television deals that AEW is working out for Rampage. They are trying to get the show in as many markets as they can. A big problem might be airing the show live, because it will be on so much later in other parts of the world.

“As far as everything else, there’s no television deal in the UK, but it will be on the Fite monthly subscription thing, so you’re going to get Rampage on that almost for sure, nothing has been announced, but that one is pretty much a given. None of this is confirmed, all this is talked about. They expect to be on TSN in Canada, live. TSN, when asked, said ‘stay tuned,’ so it’s not a done deal, but they are in talks.”

“They are in strong talks to cover the show in Portuguese in Brazil and also in South America, and they are working on India, possibly live in India, and also Germany, Italy, France, and parts of Africa. Australia and New Zealand are looking to do a months subscription service, whatever the cost is.”

Rampage will be on at 10:00 PM EST for fans in America. Many might find themselves waking up on Saturday mornings to watch Rampage on DVR. We’ll have to see what kind of numbers they can garner, but AEW is looking to make sure that Rampage has as much of the world watching as possible.
