The current WWE product has a lot of flaws including 50/50 booking, feuds that don’t go anywhere, teams splitting up for no reason and storylines not making sense. All of this has led to fans simply being tired of the company and the disinterest of the fans is reflected in the dwindling ratings of both main roster shows over the past few years.
The company is well aware that they have been losing fans over the years and now it seems they are trying to get some of them back.
While speaking to Dan Gelston of The North State Journal, Triple H talked addressed the recent record-low ratings for Monday Night RAW. Triple H stated that the company will shift everything in order to engage fans and bring in more of them.
“It never is one thing. We see this as a moment in time to shift everything. I think you’ll see it in just the layout of everything, the set designs, the way it’s presented. There’s a greater emphasis on utilizing the spaces that we have and the TV aspect of it while still engaging the fans. A lot of that comes from the time we had to experiment inside the ThunderDome.”
We certainly wonder if WWE will finally rectify its numerous flaws, especially with it comes to producing repetitive content every week. Should they improve the product, fans will start caring about it again.
