AEW has accomplished a lot of things since the company opened, and they are approaching a milestone for Dynamite. That doesn’t mean the company will celebrate it.
Tony Khan’s company will soon celebrate its 100th episode of Dynamite. A majority of those shows too place in Daily’s Place due to the pandemic. A timing switch for the company has also caused them to rethink celebrating their 100th episode.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted that AEW will not do anything special for their 100th episode. There is some concern that they should or shouldn’t count a week where they aired two episodes. That being said, the company’s two-year anniversary in October will probably be very special.
The 100th episode of Dynamite will be coming soon. The decision was made to not run a major event for 100 because of whether the one week they did two episodes and one was late-night and if that should count. The plan instead is to focus on a big event as the two-year anniversary show in early October
AEW has a lot of exciting plans in the pipeline to get fans going and capture interest. We will have to see if AEW mentions their 100th episode of Dynamite, but it’s not likely that they will make a big deal out of the occasion. The company should have a massive show planned for early October.
