AEW is making some big plans for the future and they have many announcements to make. Tony Khan has an exciting announcement in store for fans next week on Dynamite concerning an exciting event, but All Elite Wrestling has more than one special occasion in the pipeline.
The current line of thinking is that AEW will eventually run the United Center. Ringside News asked to confirm this and we were told that the company plans on running “a very big building” in Chicago. The date has not been revealed at this time.
We have also been told that AEW plans to hold a show in the United Kingdom in the near future. Tony Khan has big connections in the UK and AEW wants to use them.
Tony Khan stated last year that Fyter Fest was supposed to be in London, but the pandemic nixed those plans. No location for the upcoming U.K event was confirmed to us at this time, but we have heard November as a possible date. AEW has their current touring dates booked out until October.
CM Punk’s new Instagram story, which you can check out below, is very interesting. It is a blank screen with the Alan Parsons Project playing. This is the same song that the Chicago Bulls played during their prime at the United Center. This caused a lot of attention among fans.
Ringside News exclusively confirmed that Punks’ deal with AEW is pretty much done, they just need to sign the paperwork. It is possible that AEW plans to fill the United Center for a huge event, plausibly with CM Punk attached. A trek to the U.K will also excite many of their diehard fans across the ocean.
