The Rock is coming back to WWE, but it’s unknown how much involvement he will have. John Cena’s return will accompany a “Summer of Cena” tour, but Dwayne Johnson might not have the time for that.

During the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast, Andrew Zarian reported that he was told by someone in Fox, USA Network, and WWE about The Rock’s Survivor Series return. It is also very likely that The Rock’s return won’t be a one-off deal for a single brand.

“I can tell you, USA Network tentatively wants him on that Monday. By the way, he’s gonna go everywhere. This isn’t just a RAW storyline. He’s going to go everywhere.”

Zarian said that The Rock will go everywhere in terms of WWE’s main roster shows. USA Network wants The Rock on the RAW after Survivor Series if WWE is able to secure the booking. He will float between both brands whenever he can make television.

We have reached out for clarification and it was confirmed that it is the intention for The Rock to float between RAW and SmackDown.

It was not confirmed that The Rock will wrestle at Survivor Series. In fact, Zarian seemed inclined to believe that Dwayne Johnson will show up at Survivor Series for another reason. There is still an expected WrestleMania match with The Great One, and you can click here for that spoiler.

We’ll have to see what happens, because a lot can happen between now and November. It would be a good idea to expect Dwayne Johnson in some way during Survivor Series and he will also show up on RAW and SmackDown in the process.
