CM Punk is talking about making a return to the pro wrestling ring and it seems that AEW is the most likely company to host his return. This is going to garner a lot of interest, for sure. Should fans expect to see the Second City Savior at Fyter Fest Night 2?

Punk hasn’t wrestled since January, 2014. It’s been a long time since he was in a real match with fans present, but that could be changing . Many are hoping to see Punk sooner than later. The big question is how soon he will emerge if that is in the cards.

According to a report from Bodyslam.net, CM Punk is not in Dallas for Fyter Fest’s second night. At this point “no one’s said anything” about him signing with the company. He has also not been seen in Texas for Fyter Fest night 2.

I reached out to sources within AEW inquiring about the CM Punk news, and was told currently “no one’s said anything” regarding a potential Punk signing. I was also told that Punk is NOT in Dallas for tonight’s special Fyter Fest Night 2 episode of Dynamite.

If CM Punk is there for AEW Dynamite tonight, then it’s a situation where they are keeping Punk locked away in a backroom or in his own trailer outside away from everyone. It’s not looking likely tonight.

It’s really nothing new for CM Punk to be talking to AEW. The company wanted him for a long time. Tony Khan originally wanted to build the company around him prior to realizing that The Elite was available. Now fans might see CM Punk come around after all.
