Impact Wrestling is becoming a place where different wrestlers from a variety of companies can wrestle each other, as evidence by so many NJPW and AEW talent coming in for programs. It looks like another AEW star is going to Impact.
Slammiversary saw a few surprises, but there are more to come. This next set of television tapings will include another name from AEW, but he is also quite familar with Impact Wrestling as well.
According to a report from Fightful Select, Frankie Kazarian was at the Impact Wrestling television tapings. He will be a part of the shows as well.
AEW star and longtime TNA wrestler Frankie Kazarian has been backstage in Nashville at the IMPACT tapings today. He’s appearing on the second set of tapings, as well. We’ll have more as we learn additional info
It was not noted what Kazarian will be doing, but he spent a good amount of time in TNA and he will return to his old stomping grounds. He is currently going through a gimmick on AEW television where he is an “Elite Hunter.” It is unknown if he will chase Kenny Omega down at the Impact Zone.
This is an interesting situation, because Kazarian hasn’t been wrestling much for AEW since SCU’s split. They simply use him to do run-ins and take out members of The Elite. Now he might get to wrestle a different program for Impact Wrestling, because he has a lot of history with many members of that roster.
