Chris Jericho is a true veteran in the pro wrestling world as he has competed all over the world in various promotions, including WWE. He has competed for over three decades and has worked with the best of the best in the pro wrestling world.

During the WWE Money In The Bank pay-per-view, Michael Cole stated on commentary that WWE Hall Of Famer Edge was the one who invented the WWE Money In The Bank ladder match.

Many fans called Michael Cole out for this false claim and one fan also tagged Chris Jericho, stating that WWE should stop rewriting history as Jericho invented the match.

Chris Jericho saw the fan’s tweet and decided to reply to it, as he also gave a brief history lesson. Jericho stated that he and former WWE RAW head writer Brian Gewirtz came up with most of the match’s concept.

“True story!!! @bfg728 and I came up with that entire match concept. Well almost all of it…@VinceMcMahon insisted that the contract be in a briefcase.

It is not known why Michael Cole incorrectly name Edge as the inventor of the Money In The Bank Ladder match apart from the fact that they want to erase Chris Jericho from existence in WWE.
