Vince McMahon Apparently Won’t Let The New Day Turn Heel Again

Kofi Kingston is undoubtedly a proper veteran in the pro wrestling world, having been working in WWE for over a decade. He has competed in several memorable matches and won various championships.

Apart from his singles run, which saw him win the WWE Championship, among other titles, he is still a member of The New Day. The group remains one of the most popular tag teams in the history of pro wrestling.

When the New Day made their debut as a group, they were initially heels but were eventually turned into babyfaces due to their rise in popularity. While speaking to Metro, Kofi Kingston stated that the group has fantasized about turning heel once again.

Kingson then claimed that the New Day will never turn heel ever again because Vince McMahon won’t let them do it.

“To be honest, we fantasize about (being heels) all the time. I tell people that I had the most fun in my career when I was yelling at children, and threatening to ground children, and threatening children. No, he’s not gonna let us do it! So, it’s a fantasy but I dunno… I don’t think it’ll ever happen again, unfortunately.”

While a heel turn would certainly be an interesting move at this point in their careers, it is highly unlikely The New Day will ever turn heel again and fans will simply have to accept that fact.
