Sami Callihan had been engaged in a feud with Impact World Champion Kenny Omega for quite some time now, as it reached a boiling point at Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary event.

Sami Callihan faced off against Kenny Omega in a No Disqualifications match for the Impact World Championship at the Slammiversary. It was an intense match from start to finish as both competitors gave it their all in order to come out the champion.

Ultimately, it was Kenny Omega who had his hands raised after the all-out war ended. Despite Callihan’s loss, it seems his spirit did not break as he took to Twitter and took pride in the fact that Kenny Omega will apparently never walk the same again

“Well, f**k. I may not be @IMPACTWRESTLING World Champion….But. @KennyOmegamanX is never going to walk the same again. I still win. #Slammiversary,”.

Sami Callihan certainly did a number on Kenny Omega throughout the match, so it is likely both competitors will be feeling the effects of their brutal war. We will have to wait and see what is next in store for Sami Callihan.
