Alexa Bliss, Tamina, Asuka, Naomi, Nikki ASH, Liv Morgan, Natalya, and Zelina Vega all battled hard to reach the white Money in the Bank briefcase. Alexa Bliss walked into the match as the odds-on favorite, and her mind control techniques were utilized in the match as she took over Zelina Vega and caused her to climb down the ladder without capturing the briefcase. There was a lot going on in this intense match.

Another close spot came as Natalya scaled the ladder with Zelina Vega on her back. Vega latched on a sleeper hold, and then almost got the briefcase, but Liv Morgan climbed up to stop Vega from winning and they all three fell off the ladder.

Nikki ASH also pulled off a sick dive off a ladder onto the rest of the competitors, but it didn’t help her win the match. It was a very cool superhero spot, though. Bliss came in and nailed her version of Sister Abigail and climbed up to get stopped by Natalya. Then they threw Bliss out of the ring and literally buried her under a pile of ladders as the Fort Worth crowd booed the move.

There was a spot later on where they set up three ladders and everyone got up on top to fight for it. Suddenly, Nikki ASH climbed over them all and won the briefcase. This was a shocking win to start out Money in the Bank, for sure.

The other competitors in the match seemed very shocked that Nikki ASH was able to climb over them as she did and come down with the Money in the Bank briefcase. This was definitely a shocking way to start Money in the Bank, the first of many likely surprises.
