Mickie James is a true veteran of the pro wrestling world as she was one of the mainstays of WWE’s women’s division during the mid to late 2000s.

After being fired by WWE back in April, Mickie James made her way to NWA, where she will be responsible for the promotio’s first ever all-women pay-per-view.

At Impact Wrestling’s Slammiversary event, Mickie James made her return to the company after many years. She confronted Deonna Purrazzo but will not be an in-ring competitor.

Mickie James took to Twitter and stated that she came back to Impact Wrestling to change the pro wrestling business.

“I’m not just here to DO business… I’m here to CHANGE it. Oh & in case you forgot, welcome to #HardcoreCountry,”

We will have to wait and see what the company has planned for Mickie James now that she’s back.
