Aiden English was released from WWE last year, but his name is coming up in Impact Wrestling now. They aired a teaser during Slammiversary for his impending arrival, and Matt The Drama King is on his way.

According to a report from Fightful Select, the former Aiden English will be at the Impact Wrestling television tapings. He will be featured with a “solid push” and that will center around the upcoming mixed tag team tournament.

The former Aiden English will be coming into the company as a heel, and was slated to get a solid push for the mixed tag team tournament.

Aiden English was a commentator for WWE on 205 Live prior to his release. He hasn’t wrestled on television in quite some time, but that is about to change. English has been getting whatever ring time he can in the meantime. Now Impact Wrestling will be his new stomping grounds.
