No Way Jose was a big surprise at Slammiversary, adding to the unexpected names fans saw during the show. It was an impactful entrance with a conga line in tow, but they weren’t supposed to say his entire name. Fallah Bah still said “No Way Jose” just before he came out, and that sparked a bigger issue.

No Way Jose’s new name in Impact Wrestling is just “No Way.” They accidentally said “No Way Jose” during the event, but that was a mistake. It’s doubtful that WWE will come after Impact Wrestling for this error at Slammiversary, but they might need to fix that mistake.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, it was noted that they accidentally called No Way, “No Way Jose” a couple of times. That is not his name in Impact Wrestling, because WWE owns that trademark. He is simply “No Way” in Impact Wrestling.
Fans in the Impact Zone chanted “No Way Jose” just like in WWE. His music was different, but the chant was still the same pattern. That conga line was still present, complete with people dressed in zany costumes. Obviously, this name issue needs to be addressed, because WWE might not appreciate it if they continue.
The announce team did correct themselves and start calling him just “No Way,” but the live crowd didn’t hear it. Fallah Bah also didn’t help matters when he introduced him by saying: “No Way Jose.” We will have to see what’s next for him in Impact Wrestling without the “Jose.”
