No Way Jose was released from WWE in April, 2020. He spent over a year outside of the pro wrestling world, waiting for his chance to emerge once again. That opportunity came at Slammiversary.

TJP was not able to work Slammiversary. It was not noted why he was pulled but TJP was unable to tag with Fallah Bah. When the time came to replace TJP, Fallah Bah came out and introduced No Way Jose as his partner.

No Way Jose used that name, his WWE moniker, at Slammiversary. He also had a conga line with him, just like in WWE. We’ll have to see if they are forced to make any alterations to that.

This was quite a surprise for fans at Slammiversary, marking yet another surprise debut for Impact Wrestling tonigth.
