WWE is coming back to MSG on September 10th, but tickets are not selling very well at all. In fact, a recent report said that low ticket sales might have caused Vince McMahon to call up even more NXT Superstars.

The World’s Most Famous Arena said that all fans will need to show proof that they are vaccinated prior to entering WWE’s SmackDown event. This might have created a big issue.

Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast tweeted out a very interesting note. Madison Square Garden requiring proof of vaccination for their WWE event might have actually caused this huge problem with moving tickets out of the building. There are many factors to this including small children who are unvaccinated, so their families can’t come.

I spoke with someone at MSG & they pointed out that the lower number has a lot to do with MSG requiring you to be vaccinated. This makes it difficult for most families to attend the show. Under 16 needs negative PRC

WWE also made that television taping a split brand show. RAW and SmackDown Superstars will both be in MSG, but those tickets haven’t flown out of the box office like Vince McMahon would have hoped. On the other hand, AEW’s Dynamite Grand Slam event in Flushing New York is likely going to sell out. We will continue monitoring this ongoing story here at Ringside News.
