Note On Rumor About WALTER’s Injury Being Fake

WALTER and Ilja Dragunov were slated for an NXT UK Title match next week, but that is not happening now. It was reported that WALTER suffered a severe hand injury during a backstage brawl.

Fans are worried after the NXT UK Champion can not defend his title after over 830 days with the belt. This situation might be a bit of a swerve for fans as pro wrestling does its thing and possibly kayfabes another situation.

It was speculated by some fans that this situation with WALTER was part of the show. Sadly, PW Insider

There is no word how long he may be out of the ring as of this writing. confirmed that he is actually injured.

We’re hoping that WALTER will be able to get back to action soon. It would be a shame for him to drop that NXT UK Title, because he has been such an unbelievably strong champion. On the other hand, if they take that title off of him by forcing him to relinquish it, that might be another very smart way to get the belt off the big man without making him actually lose it.
