Former WWE Superstar Andrade El Idolo had a solid run in NXT where he even won the NXT Championship, but his main roster run in comparison left much to be desired. He was finally granted his WWE release after WWE Fastlane back on March 21st.

Since his release, fans have been wondering which pro wrestling promotion Andrade El Idolo will call home next. That question was finally answered as he made his debut in AEW last month after being introduced by Vickie Guerrero.Andrade El Idolo is also set to square off against Alberto Del Rio and Carlito at an indie wrestling event on July 31st in Texas.

Andrade has been taking shots at Alberto Del Rio in the past and he did so once again recently. El Idolo replied to Del Rio claiming he won’t let Andrade beat him because Del Rio beat John Cena, where Andrade ripped Del Rio for having to start his own company to be able to work.

“Congratulations on that achievement and who remembers it?@PrideOfMexico I was so busy that I didn’t have time to answer. You had to start a company to be able to work while I have a contract and can work all over the world. You even hired me to humiliate you.”
