WWE informed their employees that all raises and bonuses were going to be frozen. This was a cost-cutting measure during the pandemic, but it also came during a time when WWE was racking in record profits. That freeze is over, and employees got very happy news today.

According to a report from PW Insider, WWE held an “all hands on deck” meeting today. This is when they were informed that the promotions and raises for employees are coming back. Obviously, this was good news to hear.

The major news coming out of the gathering is that the company has reinstated promotions and raises for employees after freezing them earlier this year.

We are told that the implication was that a big part of the staff would be receiving raises in the days and weeks ahead.

WWE axed a lot of employees over the past few months. Over 60 people were fired from the backstage area to consolidate multiple departments into one “WWE Media” division under Kevin Dunne’s oversight. Perhaps trimming those people off the bottom line encouraged the company to bring back raises.

What’s your take on WWE bringing back employee raises and promotions? Sound off in the comments!
